Hey there, this is my second post for today. This time i want to share with you guys this beautiful taste of soup which is cream of mushroom. I learned this from my handsome Chef (cooking expert i can tell XD) I''m not a fan of this kind of food before (western) but since i taste few of western food , what can i say ....OMG now I'm a biggest fan of it especially spaghetti, salad and others. Okey let's start with the menu...CHOP CHOP guys...=)
Ingredient's
* Butter (30 gram)
*Shitake Mushroom (75 gram)
*Button Mushroom (50 gram)
*Shallot (1)
*Celery ( 1 stalk)
*Bay Leaf ( 1 pcs)
* Fresh Thyme (1 pcs)
*Heavy Cream (adjust)
*Salt
*garlic bread
you will also need this :
~Vegetable Stock (Adjust)
~Black Pepper (Adjust)
~Roux (Adjust)
~Parsley (As garnish)
Method Of Cooking
1. Prepare the vegetable stock first (Mirepoix celery, carrot and onoin 5;2;2)
2.Prepare the garlic bread.
3.Slice the shitake mushroom and button mushroom. Roughly chop shallot, garlic and celery.
4.Melt butter in a saucepan and lightly saute the shallot on a medium heat. Add in the slice mushroom, thyme and bay leaf. Saute over moderate heat for 10-15 min or until the liquid that is released from the mushroom dissapears.
5. Blend the saute item. (set aside)
6.Prepare white roux (butter + flour)
7. at the other side add salt, pepper and about 2 cup of heavy cream in a vegetable stock (remove the mirepoix) .
8. mixed together the blend item together with the vegetable stock.Bring it to a boil and reduce the heat and simmer it for about 20 minutes. add roux and stir until the soup is thick enough.
9.Serve soup with garlic bread.
